PM Kisan Samman Nidh Yojna Objective

The government has launched this PM Kisan Scheme to provide income support to all small and marginal landholding farmer families to meet their financial needs for agriculture and allied activities as well as for procurement of various household and agricultural-related activities.

Under PM Kisan Yojana, farmer families holding total cultivable land up to 2 hectares are provided a benefit of Rs 6,000 per family, payable in three equal installments every four months. This scheme of the central government is effective from 2018-19 all over India.

PM Kisan Yojna Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant should be a resident of India
• Only farmers will be considered eligible for this scheme
• All superannuated / retired pensioners whose monthly pension is Rs 10,000 or more (except Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV / Group Employees) will not be eligible for the scheme
• Those who pay income tax are also not eligible for this scheme.
• The family of a landholder farmer is defined as “a family of husband, wife and minor children who own cultivable land as per the land records of the respective State/UT. Covered as a beneficiary under the scheme Is

• Visit the official website of Kisan Portal.
• Now click on CSC Login button.

• Now login to Kisan Portal with your Digital Seva Kendra ID.
• After login, the dashboard of CSC user will open in front of you.

• Now you have to click on the OTP / Biometrics Aadhar Authentication link under the main menu.

• Now the Aadhar Ekyc page of the portal will open in front of you.
• After this, first of all enter your aadhaar number and click on the search button.

• You have to enter your mobile number which is linked with Aadhar and click on Get OTP button on it.

• After submitting the OTP, you have to complete the biometrics of the farmer, for this you can scan the farmer’s thumb or any finger impression.

• Now finally you have to submit the farmer’s ekyc and in this way you can easily complete the ekyc of any farmer
